The New Bee-Hive

Extra!! Extra!!! Hear All About It -Beehive On It's Way!
Today was an extra special day at our school. Students and staff attended a surprise assembly this morning to find out some surprising news.  As a result of our Parent Council's Fundraising efforts over the past few years, your participation in and contributions to  them and the Red Deer County's generous financial support, we are getting a new piece of playground equipment called the Beehive in the fall! To make the day even more awesome, the Parent Council treated all students and staff to a continental breakfast!!!

Happy Mother's Day

Our students showed their love to the special women in their lives.

The Kindergarten class had a spa day.  The Moms were treated with massages, tea, manicures, hand massages and having their hair done.

The grade 1 class had a Mother's Day Tea.  Moms were served tea, enjoyed some entertainment while at the school.

Thank you to all the important women in our lives.

We have a few visitors in Kindergarten this week

In Kindergarten this week, the students watched as the baby chicks cracked open their eggs and joined their classroom.  Throughout the week you'd hear the excitement when they realized there was another chick in the incubator. All 9 chicks are receiving lots of love and attention.

Lots of green here today

We heard from a few students that today was the BEST DAY EVER!

We all dressed in our best green and then had a sock hop in the gym!  It was amazing to see smiling faces, to hear laughter and get our groove on.

We've added some photos of our day along with a few videos.  Mrs. Warder taught all the kids an Irish Jig during music the past week and they did amazing!
