My name is Alissa Lidgren and I am the Kindergarten teacher at Poplar Ridge School. This is my fourth year at Poplar Ridge School but my eighth year teaching for Chinooks Edge School Division. Prior to working at Chinooks Edge School Division I taught with Elk Island Public Schools for seven years. I have taught kindergarten for 14 years and I absolutely love it!
I enjoy camping, shopping, reading, bike riding and hanging out with my family. I am the proud mother of two boys who are 8 and 11. My boys also attend Poplar Ridge School and love the school as much as myself! On weekends, I spend most of my time with my boys at the BMX track or hockey rink.
I am looking forward to a great year at Poplar Ridge School!
